I went to visit a friend who was working over there. It was the year after the great storm Ivan and you could still see some of the effects it had on the island.
Morocco, May 2008
First trip with Exodus Carol and I went on an adventure holiday to Morocco with Exodus in May 2008. There were only 12 people in the group and the guide was great. We had a fantastic time. The photos were taken with Sony Ericson my mobile phone.
Romania Aug 1999 — chasing the eclipse
David, his mother (Liz), uncle (Giles) and I went to Romania in August 1999 to watch the total solar eclipse (August 11th). We stayed at a convent near Rimnicu-Vilcea, the point of greatest eclipse and watched the exclipse from the hills above. Visiting Amanda in Japan — reminiscing
David and I went to see Amanda in Japan when she was working as an English teacher in Tokyo. We spent a day back in Urasa and IUJ to see all our old haunts. We also took a day trip to Nikkō National Park. We stopped off in Malaysia on the way back. Back to list of Holidays with David
Wales Sept 1994 — sight-seeing
