Shetland – where Scotland meets Scandinavia and the North Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. In June 2012 Carol, John and I went on Mike Grimshaw’s Shetland trip. This journey to southern Brittany was my first trip with the RSPB Guildford group. We set off very early on Sunday 8 May in our own bus.
