Bo, Torolf and I went on a sight-seeing trip to Pompeii. Unfortunately, the guide was not very good and he kept losing people. It was also very commercial and we were left for half an hour in the shop before we even started. (I thought it was ‘exit through the gift-shop’.) October 2012 I had never been on a cruise before so, when I was offered a free Celebrity Mediterranean Cruise with my family from Norway, I jumped at the chance. Whilst visiting Cayman we took a trip to Cuba. We stayed in Havanna, a facinating place. We also went on a couple of excursions with some lovely guides. Cuba has one of the world’s only planned economies, and its economy is dominated by the exports of sugar, tobacco, coffee and skilled labor.
