Bo, Torolf and I went on a sight-seeing trip to Pompeii. Unfortunately, the guide was not very good and he kept losing people. It was also very commercial and we were left for half an hour in the shop before we even started. (I thought it was ‘exit through the gift-shop’.) October 2012 I had never been on a cruise before so, when I was offered a free Celebrity Mediterranean Cruise with my family from Norway, I jumped at the chance. The ship was named Celebrity Silhouette and it was enormous, being able to carry nearly 5,000 passengers and crew. It would be best described as a giant floating shopping mall and hotel combined.
